Killer Whale Watching Tours

• We always recommend warm layers. You can always take a layer off if you are too warm, but you can’t put on a layer you didn’t bring.
• Long pants and close toed shoes are highly recommended.
• It is also a good idea to bring a water proof layer; not only does it keep you dry, it also protects you from the wind.
• Hats or sun protection even on overcast days is recommended.
• In addition to the recommended clothing and sun protection, you may want bring a camera, binoculars, water, snacks and motion sickness remedies. (up to a small cooler is permitted)

Our vessels are now licensed for beer and wine sales on board and our shop is licensed for beer sales. Therefore, guests are no longer allowed to bring their own alcoholic beverages on the trips. We do have beer for sale everyday in store and beer and wine on the vessels for sale to individuals 21 years of age and older in accordance with the California Alcoholic Beverage Control regulations.

Pregnant women are not allowed on these trips

Important: You MUST pay for parking in advance using either:

The ParkMobile App – Zone 21031 or On-site Pay Stations

• Parking is $2/Hour or $12/All Day
• RV parking is available
• Allow extra time on the meter incase trip exceeds duration time
• Pay attention to street parking signs as they are only a 2 hour time limit, which is not sufficient enough for any of our trips.

Failure to pay before leaving your vehicle may result in a $49+ parking ticket

WALKING DIRECTIONS FROM PARKING LOT:

Building Address: 66 Fisherman’s Wharf

Please note that Fisherman’s Wharf is a pedestrian-only area.

Here’s how to find our building on foot:

1. Look for the pink building, called Harbor House—this is a good indication you’re heading in the right direction
2. Continue walking down the wharf until you reach the yellow building, called Crab House, it has a giant clock on the side of its building
3. Once at The Crab House, turn right
4. We are the blue building on your right-hand side, called Discovery Whale Watch

To receive a full refund, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Please contact us at 831-372-7064 or email [email protected].

If you do not cancel/reschedule your trip outside of the 24 hour window you ARE NOT entitled to a refund even if you reschedule for a date that gets cancelled due to the reasons listed below. We will charge the card in full if there is an unpaid balance.

Important Notes:

• If your trip does not sight a whale, you will be issued a “Raincheck” coupon to come back and try again on us! Rainchecks never expire!
• If you do not cancel or reschedule your trip outside the 24-hour window, you will not be entitled to a refund, even if you reschedule to a date that gets cancelled.
• Groups of 5 or more will incur a 15% rebooking fee.
• We reserve the right to cancel a trip at any time for reasons including safety concerns, inclement weather, or undersubscription. If we need to cancel, we will notify you as soon as possible using the contact information provided during booking.
• Please note, weather conditions can change rapidly, and we may need to make a last-minute decision on cancellations. Our goal is to ensure safe, manageable conditions for every trip, even if it means making a decision close to departure time.
• We typically require at least 10 passengers for a trip to depart. If there aren’t enough reservations, we will either reschedule or refund your booking, allowing you to choose a new date. We will do everything we can to recruit enough passengers, but cancellations may still occur close to departure if we don’t meet the minimum.
