It’s always a possibility for a whale jumping out of the water but we wouldn’t hold our breath on it though.
When Humpback Whales come to Monterey Bay, they are generally foraging for food. They may get active or not but thats up to the whales to decide.
We appreciate all whale behavior and while we show the highlights of trips, the “exciting” behavior should not be expected all the time. Most of the time they are cruising along and that’s amazing to watch too!
Plus it’s more thrilling when it’s not expected 😉
